Join the Journey.

This page outlines the application process and gives tips to improve your chances of being selected. There are a number of ways to make yourself stand out as an applicant and will give you a better chance of being selected for the team.

The application to participate in the next Journey of Hope trip is made available annually towards the end of the school year. In the past students have been given one week from the release of the application to have it completed and turned in to their school’s office. Announcements will be made when the application form is released and a meeting for all prospective applicants may be held.

The positions are limited and applicants are competitively selected, giving priority to older students. However, displaying interest in participating from an early stage in your high school career is strongly recommended and by applying early, you will have first-hand experience with the application, giving you an advantage when applying at the next opportunity.

  • A student with something to add to the team. (i.e. artistic, skilled in mathematics, skilled in English, experience in tutoring, photography, technology, etc.)

Give yourself a headstart...
