A First Outing...

The group walked from the hotel to DTB (Diamond Trust Bank) to exchange US$ for Tanzanian shillings. This was done under the watchful eye of two security guards and took a while to do as there were 20 of us (even doing it in batches of 5 students). We then walked through one of the busier areas of Moshi to the Indoitalian restaraunt for a bottle of Fanta encountering a small group of persistent merchants along the way. We will return there this evening for dinner. We saw many schoolchildren in their brightly-coloured uniforms along the way. The

group then split with some going to a cafe for a light snack while the others returned to the hotel for some personal time.
