Team members received a gift from CSRAII; bracelets that were designed specifically for Journey of Hope. They were made by youth at risk who are living in the streets of Mwanza, Tanzania. Most of them were drug addicts and resorted to theft to survive. After counselling and psychosocial support they realize that they still have a chance to make life better and to be accepted by the community. They are being mentored by the UNV (United Nations Volunteers).
There are so many wonderful students as ambassadors for themselves, their families and schools and, indeed , our country. I
We feel so proud that they are representing so much enthusiasm and willingness to help others. God bless all of you . Help all you can and open your hearts and minds to the people and all the new experiences.
