The Water Towers

Having a sustainable source of water is something that we often take for granted. Being able to store water for times when it is not otherwise available is a necessity in many parts of Tanzania and Kilema is no exception. As a team we have been able to fund 3 waters towers each capable of holding 50,000 litres (a fourth tower has been sponsored by a Rotary Club). We were fortunate enough to be present when one of the towers was being erected. For his long-standing involvement in improving the lives of those living in Kilema, retired KPRDSB Principal, Steven Truelove, was honoured by having his name placed on the side of one of the towers.
